Organization Asks IRS to Investigate Sugar Bowl for 501(c)(3) Violations

Playoff PAC, a group that advocates for a college football playoff system, has asked the IRS to investigate the Sugar Bowl for making political campaign contributions.   The Sugar Bowl is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3).  Section 501(c)(3) prohibits a tax-exempt organization's contribution to a political campaign.See Playoff Pac's email to the iRS.
