Florida Governor Scott Calls for Tax Cuts for Businesses

Governor Rick Scott continued his push for lower taxes for businesses.  He wishes to increase the exemption from state corporate income tax from $25,000 in 2012 (an increase from $5,000) to $50,000.  In addition, he recommends a $50,000 exemption on tangible property taxes for businesses.See also Florida Governor Revives Pitch for Corporate Tax Cuts, 2011 STT 199-4, October 14, 2011.
