Obama Administration Delays Employer Insurance Mandate, But Not Individual Mandate

On July 2, 2013, Mark J. Mazur, Assistant Treasury for Tax Policy at the U.S. Department of Treasury, announced a delay until 2015 in the employer health insurance reporting requirements under the Affordable Care Act.  The individual mandate, which requires individuals to have health insurance, was not addressed.
