Tax and Economic Issues of Spring Break: Interesting Article
Having resided in Florida since I was 11 and in greater Fort Lauderdale for almost four years, the topic of college spring break is very relevant. As a tax attorney, I'm interested in the tax implications of spring break. Billy Hamilton, in "Where the Bucks Are: The Fiscal Realities of Spring Break," 2014 STT 46-10, March 10, 2014, further addresses tax and economic implications of spring break, primarily in Florida. He provides a history of spring break, and examines and economic and tax realities--good and bad--of it. Want to further discuss these issues?
